If I had a twin sister…

it would be this girl riding the bicycle with me: Jeannie! We look like twins, right? : P

Now that she has just turned twenty, here are 20 things about her that I love and miss.

1. She loves yellow. Everytime I see an extra extra bright yellow top, pants, cardigan or anything that screams yellow in a store, she always come to my mind. She is little miss sunshine, like literally, when she enters a room.

2. “Pasiklab!” It must be her favorite word or expression. I miss her say it! I actually hear it in my head right now. haha

3. She has really nice hair. It’s so shiny and always in place! If there was a Miss Beautiful Hair pageant, she’d totally win it.

4. She loves Pride & Prejudice! I think she has a collection of different versions of the book, which I want to see!

5. She has a Converse Chuck Taylor collection. She must have more than 20 pairs!

6. She must be one of the most devoted Harry Potter fans I know. Boggarts in the wardrobe.

7. Miranda Kerr is her spirit animal. I always see her reblog any Miranda Kerr pictures! I think she’s obsessed with her. haha

8. Dancing is her biggest passion. She dances really well! Believe me when I say her hips don’t lie. Her hips do all the talking when she dances, that anyone who watches would just stop and stare… or maybe even drool. ; )

9. She has a smokin’ body! Period.

10. She has a flexible body! It scares me sometimes, cause whenever she’s bored she would go into a corner and do some stretching exercises which don’t look comfortable at all! But then, you look at her face and she seems so relaxed, it’s not possible. haha

11. She can rock red lips!

12. She is always pumped and energetic! Her energy is infectious.

13. She knows how to have fun, let loose, and get wild. She is one of my adventurous friends na go lang ng go!

14. She loves her brother and sister soooooo much. And she looks soooooo much like them too. ; )

15. She is a born leader. It’s hard to explain, but I feel that she knows how to bring people together and lead them into doing something fruitful. Well, she was president of a dance club.

16. She is a generous friend anyone would ask for. If you are her friend, she wouldn’t think twice to do anything for you. One wouldn’t hesitate to come to her to ask for help or to confide in her with anything.

17. She is mushy, and thoughtful, and so pa-cute! I love her! (Girl, I miss your smile! As in the one na ginagaya ko haha)

18. She will travel the world. And she will be dancing her way to see the whole world! I know that for sure!

19. She is a dream-chaser. Despite all the hurdles, she knows how to get her dreams so she chases it.

20. She is beautiful both inside and out. And it’s shocking cause she doesn’t always see that! She’s amazing and people around her love her!

Hey Twinnie, belated happy birthday! I miss you and I really hope you’re here with me in London right now. I hope you are having an awesome summer! ❤

Hey, It’s Mima!

Because I suddenly missed you (with a fervent passion, mind you), and I also realized that I never made you a birthday post (which was supposed to be almost a month ago), let the cheese begin.

Dear Mother Mima,

Two things I greatly  miss about us: sensible conversations and witty banters. My group of friends here in the study tour are like little kids most of the time, they are like walking internet memes. It’s actually weird being one of the most mature here. I kind of miss having to just follow your plans. #medyodependent. I really miss having serious, mature talks with you and G1. I remember our night in Shakeys, sulking over the closure that was then the most important thing for us, the hope that was hanging on a thread which we almost cried about, and those pakisara na ang pinto dramatic blabs. We were just too funny, and I miss it. I was happy I took the same risk that you did and somehow I had someone who can talk it with. Things became easier that time. : )

I miss having someone to ask for advice when I have legit issues about life. I miss having someone to encourage me and support me in everything that I do. I miss having to listen to a friend who reads situations in all possible angles and seems to always know what to do. Whenever you start talking, I just respect your word. You always make sense. And even if sometimes I don’t agree with what you think, you still and always make a point.

I read your latest blog posts and I hear your voice while reading them. By the way, I’m happy that you are doing something that you love for your internship. More power! I wish one day I just wake up with your passion and drive to take on anything for a better world. You are my peg in terms of doing substantial work and living a simple yet significant life.

For a belated birthday wish, I hope you continue to have good health and unending positive energy in fulfilling all your causes for the world. I’ve always known you to be a person for others and so I wish that you continue to be the influential person that you are. Continue to love! Even if it doesn’t make sense, even if it’s unfair to the point that it breaks you, just love. The day will come for love’s turn to give back.  Stay free and just the way you are. Love you, woman!

To the girl who could be my soulmate ❤

Dear Zelpha Marie,

your journey to being a twenty-something officially begins today. Happy 21st birthday! 🙂 I am so glad to see you happy and enjoying the many blessings of life. I am truly so proud of you for following your heart and seeing you achieve all your accomplishments. You know what, sometimes, I really see myself in you. You always daydream (haha!), are so driven by your passions, have dreams bigger than pine trees, have a kind and understanding heart (oo I believe I have that too haha), and have the ability to laugh to almost any random and stupid thing.  You may actually be a better of version of me, and that’s the truth. I love how you can stay simple and true and just be yourself all the time. I love how you take things as they come and always enjoy the moment in front of you. Kahit na minsan kinakalimutan mo lahat, naaalala mo talaga yung mga mahahalagang bagay… (but not really? haha) I wish that you never lose this zeal in life. I wish that your excitement for the future never fade. I wish that you continue to shoot for the stars and one day I’ll gaze above and see you up there. I believe that the day will come and I will be there pushing you until you reach your best potential.

Thank you, Zeh… for being an awesome friend and for always being there especially in my birthdays (for someone like me who loves celebrating birthdays, I appreciate your thoughtfulness), for being my dance floor buddy and grooving with me from Aaron Carter’s tunes to Jay-Z’s , for laughing with me from the sobrang babaw at sabaw to the meanest things, for being a friend na sobrang sarap kasama and game forever, for being a fan of my blog even if a lot of times I share conceited things about myself, for being a group mate who crams with me till the end, for listening to my stories and deepest thoughts and for sharing your emotions and dreams to me as well. I will truly miss our philosophical and theological discussions in McDonalds or BonChon or even in the Kostka benches.

Someday, we’ll meet again and you’ll be the same Zeh that has been one of my truest friends, but only more famous and more mayaman, kasi make-up artist ka na ng mga local celebs and Hollywood stars. I love you, Zeh! Forever and ever! Stay passionate at patuloy na umibig! ♥

Love,

Cha : )
